Collaborative project with artist Raymond Saunders, playwright David Mamet, SOU Printmaking, and SOU Theatre Arts Department), Theatre Arts Building, Southern Oregon University, Ashland, OR, USA

In 2005, I had the opportunity to collaborate with internationally recognized painter Raymond Saunders and playwright David Mamet. Saunders, who teaches at California College of the Arts and who had recently shown at Oregon’s Schneider Museum of Art, drew an initial sketch to serve as inspiration in creating poster boards for the Southern Oregon University production of David Mamet’s The Water Engine. I designed the central image, and students produced variable prints and collaged the broadside boarders. Works accompanied the production and were then sent to Saunders and Mamet as gifts for their participation.
